Interactive light installation for the exhibition: Three Quarter of a Century

There’s something instinctive, almost irresistible, about a swing set. You see it, and before you even think, you want to hop on and soar—don’t you? I know I do. And in that simple, joyful act of play, something wonderful happens: we connect. A glance, a laugh, a shared rhythm between people who, just moments ago, had never met.

This interactive work invites you to embrace that spontaneity. A three-seater swing set, placed unexpectedly in an indoor space, transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. It stirs curiosity, sparks wonder, and turns passing strangers into playful participants.

As they take their seats and begin to swing, something remarkable unfolds. The light before them remains dim—until they find their rhythm, moving together in harmony. Only then does the message reveal itself:  "It’s not that complicated."

A moment of delight. A gentle nudge to remember that connection is always within reach. That play brings us together. That we are never as separate as we might seem.
