SCULPTURE
Urban Dew Series
period
2006-2025
The Urban Dew series explores intersection between urban environments and natural elements, highlighting the delicate balance between the two. Inspired by the fleeting beauty of dew on concrete, it reflects on nature's resilience within city landscapes. Using materials like metal and concrete, the series integrates organic forms into industrial settings, prompting viewers to pause and notice the subtle beauty around them.
Resembling metal forests emerging from the ground, the surreal quality invite audiences to engage with the space, symbolising the interconnectedness of urban life and nature. Urban Dew embodies themes of renewal, persistence, and the harmony between constructed spaces and nature's stoic endurance.
